Is there anyone out there who can clarify what this means? It strikes me as an empty promise and an effort to buy votes. I would say that it is comparable to "if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor", but this statement doesn't actually mean anything as there is no quantifiable way to say what someone can or can't afford. Afterall, if I'm unwilling to work and live off of welfare, I can't afford anything at all.
