Is Hudson on Sarkisian's #### list? I'm not saying he's the answer but it would be nice to get him some game time reps. Casey has one more year maybe if he doesn't transfer to be competitive some where else. Is Card transferring out at the end of the season? I know we need alot of players and looks like the portal is the route Sarkisian is heading this off season. @clob I know the answer but a couple weeks back someone posted that something was up with the Brockermeyer twins. Is there some chance they are possibly transferring lol. I see OSU is concerned about Ewers possibly leaving. If this is the case is Ewers better than Card?

Ewers is better than Card. Ewers better bring some talented OL with him if he wants to come to Texas.
Card has played recently as MM mentioned. He isn't very good right now.
Card fumbled and threw a pick 6 at the end of the first half of the Kansas game.
He did throw a touchdown before that.........
So he scored 0 points for us.........

Leadership is definitely mostly innate, but you can teach it and you can practice it. That said, if players/managers don't have the mental fortitude to command respect then all the knowledge doesn't matter.
I've seen athletes first hand mold into great leaders via reading, council and belief. The implementation is the difference maker.
@DHHorn yes I have seen what is going on. My thinking is that Card has more eligibility left and we know we have major growing pains. I would like to see Card play the rest of the year out and see if he can get better over time. I know I'm reaching here and I'm aware that Ewers and twins passed on TX. If they want to play TX gives them that chance. I'm not saying it's happening but just asking are the twins not happy in Alabama? Ewers is so far down the depth chart at OSU that if he came to TX we would be in the same boat as he has no game time experience. I guess what I'm asking here is if Ewers came and we got great OL from portal is Ewers better than Card? I know Card is not the answer but with game experience he may be someone that can mold Into something better than he is now with better OL play.
I understand what you're saying, I was just being a pessimist. I hope we can get some help in the portal, but if those guys portal they will be recruited by every program in the nation again and I don't see what has changed here since they spurned us the first time. I hope I'm wrong.
I thought today was the best Card has looked. The reality is until you get the OL fixed it’s not gonna matter who the QB is

Meanwhile, I saw Utah beat Oregon last night and Cameron Rising (ex Longhorn) is the Utes’ QB. Poised, made the right decisions, ran when he had an open lane. Refreshing to see. I’m not suggesting he would’ve been as successful here; just highlighting another example of an ex Longhorn QB having success elsewhere.
And, yes, Utah does have a good OL.
Card ain't the guy. Even as a freshman you SHOULD see some eye opening plays from time to time. Haven't seen one.
I've seen plenty of eye opening plays from both QBs for the wrong reasons, accompanied with head scratching or facepalming.
You can put Tom Brady back there behind this offensive line and he isn’t going to look very good. Until we fix the line it’s not going to matter who is playing QB.
I don't disagree. Though I would like to see 1999 Michael Vick back there. We'd have 8 wins a least---- between him and Bijan.

We don't have any REAL tackles on this team. Jake Majors isn't big enough to play C.
WR - We only have one right now, worthy. Brennan Thompson - Evan Stewart are competent adds.
RB - We're good
TE - We need blocking help here. Transfer in for sure.
QB- Transfer.
Overall on offense, we have gaping holes. We have 11 guys who are offensive linemen and only 3 are serviceable at this point. We could process most of them. The 2 guys coming in are guards at best. Not good bob.
Defense - Well, every position is in need of a new face. We don't have any NFL players on this side of the ball. We could process the whole defensive side of the ball. It sucks.

I feel the same way. Casey and Card don’t have the arm and don’t have the legs of Vick, but as I have said before, they are simply going to have to get their hands dirty and tuck and run more. At least until, the OL improves or the opposing defenses have to account for the extra runner.
