Recently there was a thread asking if you have done business or received business on Orangebloods.
In that thread @notbeowulf offered to get any OB looking for a GM Car or Truck a "Dealer Code" for a discount.
I told him that my best friend, who I'm closer with than my own brother, was looking to get a Chevy ZR2 With the Duramax Diesel engine and had found the exact one he wanted at a dealership.
He replied instantly said he just needed a birthday an zip code.
Within minutes he texted me the "Dealer Code".
When my buddy went to pay for it he gave them the "Dealer Code" and boom another $500 off the sales price.
Not only was @notbeowulf nice enough to send the code, he went the extra-mile, and had me text him a pic of the sticker and the sales contract to make sure they were being fair and not sticking him on some other part of the contract.
After reviewing he said it a very good deal.
He even checked the system to see if there were any additional discounts from Costco.
Bottom line @notbeowulf had no skin in the game, delivered the "Dealer Code", checked their pricing, and looked for additional savings - that was awesome.
It's guys like @notbeowulf that make this board more than a Longhorn Sports Site - it makes it a community!
