I remember reading during the Harvey aftermath (it was either USA Today or ABC News) that 80% of the money and about 80% of the official manpower in the unbelievably well handled response in Houston was provided by faith based resources.
What is particularly ironic about this is that the biggest story out of the Harvey (other than Blue Shed) was the bashing of a faith based org (the Osteen issue).
Where was the BLM, Antifa, Soros, etc during Harvey? Left wings/democratic voting groups spend a huge amount of time bashing Christian orgs but when compassion is really needed, they are the ones lacking.
Harvey and Puerto Rico have proven to me that it takes a combined effort handle disasters, and similarly feed the hungry, house the homeless, etc.
