Sorry in advance for the rant.
So I was wearing some Longhorn gear around today here in Vancouver, WA. While in a store this morning a lady in her late 40's probably asks me if I am visiting friends and from TX or if I live in WA state.
I told her I live here but was born and raised in TX. She replied with, "Thank God! I am sure you are happy to be out of there and away from all the racists, inbreds, and conservatives"
I came down for the Spring game and returned through Portland last night at 12:00 AM. I came straight home and went to bed. I cannot wake up and get through two hours without someone pulling this crap.
I was medically retired from the military and went back to school to become a teacher. I attended Portland State University for my BS in Exercise Science.
The school exempted any and all students from finals to protest against the school who was exempting them from finals for racist policies. Of course 97% of the protestors are white rich kids.
I had 3 classes where exempted students from the Final still showed up to make a damn scene and scream about racism in the middle of the Final....... with ZERO consequences from the school.
Meanwhile, I just find out about 2 hours ago that one of my athletes I coach & train has his physical therapist and masseuse that has worked on he and his brother for over 2 years is refusing service to the family.
They actually asked them to leave the business today because they were notified by some other "concerned families" about the existence of "potentially racist tweets supporting Trump" by the parents.
These are just 2 of the most recent events. It is every 30 minutes up here and just beyond exhausting.
I have reached my capacity for this BS and am doing all I can to move back to TX and the hell out of here A.S.A.M.F.P.!!!
