I'd have their asses on 2 a days and lots of running and just put water out, they need a " Come to Jesus " practice for about 2 weeks..and this shit would stop...FB not anymore! This crap isn't FB...wish I could digg up DKR ass and his staff, half of these kids would not make 1 practice... They need some Old School to get them right again!

If ya say ya hurt and ya can't play? Well, your not cause Freddie Steinmark done set the Standard for playing hurt!

Hook'em

Orlando is out at the end of the year. CDC was pissed after the OU loss not because we lost but the way we looked and how unprepared we were. CDC was VERY embarrassed about leaving TCU only to have his old employer crap all over his new employer. Major's name is being floated around as OC, which I think is stupid.

Fedora, who we've hired as an analyst is not even in the running.

For those who don't realize what analysts we hire are supposed to do---

Their job is break down our offense and defense and game plan what they would do if they were coaching against us. They are basically the boxing equivalent of sparring partners. They provide "outside of the box" break downs of the team's strengths and weaknesses. They are basically one foot in and one foot out. We pay them to for their non-homogenized thinking. And if an analyst like Fedora can't do his job as an analyst, how the fvck can he do it as boss man.

Bosses have grown tired of Tom's arrogance and stubbornness. They compare it to Mackovic's. Yes he's much better with the media and recruits and truly loves the kids, Mackovic hated us and we hated him-- but Herman is a player's coach.
But he's arrogant, hard headed and HAS to be the smartest guy in every room.

That's all I got.

Sounds good to me! Well done "clobito"!

If there is a proven coach that is reasonably available IF there where to be a coaching change after this season, and I don't think that there will be, it is Gundy. There just aren't any proven, available head coaching candidates out there. John Harbaugh is not leaving Baltimore, and Tomlin isn't going to come here either, so scratch them. Meyer would come in here and knock it out of the park, but the suits won't even consider him.

Briles. Wouldn’t solve the D problem, but then again you wouldn’t need a D scoring 70 a game.

you realize all the coaches back then acted like dumb a$$es like this and half of them lost on saturdays then too? you realize water is life, and deprving an athlete water is akin to abuse, as it should be. i'm all for tough practice, but doing what you're advocating actually weakens an athlete.

Franklin and Riley aren't leaving where they're at for the Texas job if it was offered.
I hadn't heard much about Franklin or his desire to leave PSU, but I would say a snowball in hell has a better chance than Riley becoming our head coach.

Also, I don't think Rhule would leave for an in conference school, but to me, he would be as close to a sure thing as there is in college football right now with what he has done and Temple and now the rebuild he has going on at Baylor.

Gus Malzahn
Chip Kelly

But even with those guys there are some questions. And I'm not sure they'd be that much better than Herman.

I'm sure the guy at Minnesota would listen if Texas came calling. If he can win there imagine what he could do in Austin.

I'd like to see a little more track record at Minnesota, but you can't deny the results thus far. And he did a good job at the stop before as well. Only thing, and I'm not sure its a huge deal anymore, is that to my knowledge doesn't have a ton of Texas ties.

ugghhh... some of you need to stop. malzahn is a tool that can't control himself on the sidelines. chip kelly hates recruiting-- good luck with that. mr row the boat is having a good year, so yeah, let's peter principle the heck out of that guy!

we have a defense that is beat to absolute crap. they were going to struggle a bit without injuries, and they've been smashed to bits. sam had a bad game against one of the best defensive coordinators of this generation-- that's what happened saturday. we failed in the red zone.

i swear some of you like to be all doom and gloom so you can be happy, in a weird way. if we win, you're happy, and if we lose, you're happy because you can stick your chest out and say how right you were to be all doom and gloom.

I can say whatever the **** I want. If you don’t like scroll the **** on

Nobody here is trying to say “I’m right” Take that shit somewhere else.

The defensive woes have been talked about plenty. The injury excuse is bullshit.

I still think TH can get it done and is our best option. But this is a message board. People talk hypotheticals

It's frustration combined with the clear warning signs we've seen in the past-- mixed in a bowl made of expectations and stirred with a really expensive spoon.

I ask you this-- have you seen a string of games we've put together where the offense scores in style--- in smooth fashion? They pass the eye test WHILE hanging 50 on someone?

Yes we scored 50 on Kansas but man, there were a lot of ugly points. We just look clunky and not fluid on offense. There's no other way to put it.

Remember how smooth the offense looked under Vince? Almost like people weren't running on the grass, but gliding over it.

Remember when Ricky was in backfield? Or Cedric? We'd line up and pound you and look good doing it.

I had a AF B-52 pilot tell me once that there was 6500 feet (or some ridiculous number) of wiring in a B52 and it rattled like an old tin can. In fact he said it handled like you were flying a train while towing tin cans with 6500 feet of wiring.
I mean, you're still flying a B52- but there's nothing fashionable or sleek about it.

That's who this team is. We have the ability to rain down fire and brimstone on pretty much everyone-- but it isn't going to be stylish in the least bit.

What ya been drinking Weev?LOL

you don't like that i call you out for some your stupid old geezer nonsense? and i stand by my statement-- defense has been beaten to crap. i thought they were decent except against the deep balls until late. not great. not dominant by any stretch. but decent. the offense sputtered in the red zone. the push off on johnson was a killer. the missed fg sucked. the INTs were bad. but again-- gary patterson is really really really good. i can tell when we have bad coaches. manny diaz was bad-- it is no surprise that he is failing at miami. shaun watson was bad-- it is no surprise he ruined the upward trajectory at pitt. duane akina as a coordinator was bad, but he was humble enough to know that. applewhite was uninspiring, at best-- no surprise it went sideways at houston. harsin was really good. robinson, tomey, chizik, boom were all good. i'm gonna say it-- based on the results, dondryesdale was really good. and know what-- orlando is good. 4 of the 22 in the 2-deep are upper-classmen on defense. 4. of 22. and then you tack on the injuries... you're scraping the bottom of the barrel for players. and yeah they were 4 star players, but they get better with reps. they learn how hard they have to play by playing on special teams, and these guys haven't had that. next year, provided sam stays upright, we're legitimate national title contenders. we are. or we can do something stupid and start all over again.
