If I was Strong, I would lock Foreman and Warren in a room and make em watch this for about 20 straight hours.......

This is what we expect men....

The best part of the clip is the ref signaling the TD, most people probably don't notice it due to being distracted by Earl body slamming every ounce of pride and manhood out of that guy.

Oldhorn, they good----- but they will NEVER be THAT good. You've been fortunate enough in your life to see 2 running backs at our school that are in the upper strata of college running backs. Yes, Cedric Benson was a special player- so was Jamaal charles-- but earl and Rick were just the bees knees.

You've also been witness to two of the greatest college qb's of our time. Vince and.................................... wait- what year were you born? I was about to say Bobby Layne------------- =)roll=)roll

I have seen Bobby Layne play....But when you talk about the best....do you mean the best talent?...Or the guy that no matter what, won?...James Street never lost a game.Ever. But what made him great was that he did for the team whatever needed doing.....think of it....# 1 against #2...Everything on the line. The President of the USA in the crowd. 4th and 3 and he goes to the sideline for the play. DKR calls the fly pass.Stupidest call ever. Street disagrees with the call....he asks...are you sure..DKR says just run the play. Did he sulk?....no...he goes to the huddle, and gives the play like it was his idea....He says...Randy...I'm looking at Cotton but I'm talking to you...This play will make you famous.

He drops back...noone was fooled...Peschel is double covered as tight as Dicks hatband. 40 yds down field Street threads the needle.....Hollywood could not have done it better with special effects.

Hard to convince me anyone was better.

I loved James. Got to play golf with him a few times at ACC and BC. He raised a heck of a family as well. I'll never, ever, ever, question his heart as a player. But pure talent, at that time---- Bobby Layne was a freak of nature. There's still stories about him floating around the 40. I'm envious of anyone that got to see him play at Texas.
I read once that his greatest heartbreak was when Doak, after the war, decided to go to SMU. It probably cost us a natty or two. I also read an interview that Tom Landry did after he left the Cowboys where he said that Bobby Layne was hands down the best QB he'd ever seen in his life. That's a guy that coached Rodger Staubach, Troy Aikman, (almost) and against Bradshaw, Montana, Marino, Elway, Foutes, Stabler, Kelly, Starr, Johnny U, Tarkenton----- methinks he knows of what he speaks. And as a UT grad------ I gotta believe him.

I'm pretty sure Oldhorn told me his very first condom was made out of wood, so that's pretty old. Or maybe that was Flour Bluff Horn.

Yes, Earl and Ricky were special...but we've been blessed with several terrific running backs...James Saxton...Ernie Koy...Steve Worster...Jim Bertelsen

Before condoms the "peter pan" was used. Clean the lil fella, inspect, and off to the rodeo.

That was pretty awesome. We need some nasty dudes in the league doing that. Seems like Fournette stands to go off on someone eventually
The thing is, that didn't look like Earl "going off on someone." At least, not to me. That was just Earl getting to the end zone.

Earl was a man among boys! Loved watching him at Texas and with the Oilers. He was fast and incredibly strong. Buy his hot links all the time. How is he getting around these days? The man took a beating in Houston.

If you want to focus on the refs/etc., then notice the chain crew guy, in fear for his life. He nervously takes half a step back, and hopes that it's enough. Maybe they always do that, but they especially don't want Earl crashing in.
