We just bought a 2025 Mini Countryman EV and it is just amazing. The problem with EV are the charging stations. We get great assistance from the Mini app, but when you drive up to the charging stations, they might or might not be working. We purchased the Mini for our 14 mile commute from South Austin to Kyle, not long trips. We just got back from Houston and the Mini has a 212 mile range, so we had to make one stop at a Shell charging station in Fulshear. Some of the Tesla charging stations charge both Tesla and non Tesla. We are installing a Cat 2 charger, but right now just using a 110 plug.
