The first off week for TX is 9/28 and then we'll play WV. Both teams will have two weeks to prepare for the game. Big deal you say? Four of the 5 P5 conferences do this the one that doesn't is the Pac XII. Case in point the SC/ND game on Oct 12. SC will play WA on 9/28 and then have 2 weeks to prepare for the Irish while ND plays VA. And there's a few Pac XII games like this. The Pac XII coaches are understandably pissed and as if they didn't have enough problems with their brand they have a bunch of idiots making their schedules. Look at the Pac XII schedules and see if a team has two weeks and the team they're playing doesn't. You'll probably get a good piece of change if you do.

Would anybody be interested if I were to post the spread on here to give your thoughts? Just for a conversation starter?

Lines are as of 9/18 through Bovada (thanks @clob94)

Utah -4.0 at USC Friday night
LSU -24 at Vanderbilt
Florida -14.0 against Tennessee
Michigan +3.5 at Wisconsin
Auburn +3.5 at Texas A&M
Washington -6.5 @BYU
SMU +9.5 @TCU
West Virginia -4.0 at Kansas
Baylor -26.5 at Rice
OSU +6.0 at Texas
Notre Dame +14.5 at Georgia
UCLA +19.0 at Wassu

If I were to bet all of these:
Utah and the points
LSU to cover
Leaning towards taking Tennessee, I know they are a dumpster fire but UF is without their starting QB
Wisconsin to cover
Auburn to win
SMU to keep it within 9.5
Washington to cover
WVU/Kansas is tough for me due to how bad they both are
Baylor to cover
OSU and the points. I think Texas wins, but I think its a field goal
Notre Dame to keep it within 2 scores
and Wassu to cover

I'll probably only bet a couple of these however. Thinking Baylor, Auburn, and most likely Wassu.

I'll post some of my plays on Friday or Saturday. Still looking at things. I'm waiting to see what Texas' team total is. I'll most likely be on their team total over pretty big. OSU won't be able to stop Texas' offense.

I want to know what you guys think about these three specifically.

Aggy v auburn
ND vs Dawgs
MeatChicken vs Whisky

To me, those are the three most compelling match ups.

aggy vs Auburn - I like Auburn. Will buy it to +4.5
ND vs Dawgs - I like the over 58.5. I will use Georgia in a 10-point teaser to bring it down to -4.5. I do lean that they cover. I would buy it down to 12.5 though.
MeatChicken vs Wisky - I like Wisky. I will buy it down to -2.5. Just don't believe in Harbaugh and not impressed with Shea Patterson at QB. He makes too many mistakes.

I think that Missouri easily covers the 9.5 against South Carolina. Also will take WSU -16.5 against UCLA.

I'm not surprised that GA is favored. What surprises me is that it's 14.5. I don't think they'll win by that much.

Do you think Kelly Bryant can make Mizzou a contender in the SEC East?

I can't stand MI or WI.

Same with Auburn or the cow college

I'm taking Auburn outright, I think they are getting spotted 4.5. I took Auburn on the spread and the outright winner.

I don't think the ND/Georgia game is close. I think Georgia comes out and adds to the "SEC SEC SEC" mantra which is more an indictment against ND than it actually says about Georgia.

I'm taking Wiscy at home. I have seen them play a couple times this year and they look like the team to beat in their division and I don't think Michigan is near as good as the "people" think they are.

My guess?

TX 42
OSU 34

WA 28
BYU 21

WI 31
MI 17 but afterwards gameday will insist that MI is still a playoff contender.

I think SC covers
UT 21
SC 20

I can certainly relate to bringbackroyal feelings about the Golden Domers. I just can't see GA winning by that much. This is an emotional pick and that's not good.

ND 35
GA 28
You know what I want to see most in this game? If/ when ND's offense gets rolling will the GA defense pull an LSU and fake injuries on national tv like LSU did?

All in all it's been a good first half in the LA Coliseum. The zebras are calling it tight but it's a good game so far.

SC 14
UT 10

This is what I call a "referee game". They're determined to take the game over and make the game about them.

True but it doesn't change the fact that SC is playing with a lot spirit and heart. MM they're playing with a 3rd string qb. And even with helpful zebras UT still wasted a 15 play drive with a fumble.

Not pretty but USC came through. Gotta admire their heart. You know at the 7 minute mark it was 21/20 SC. If the game had ended right there I would have har the right final score lol.
