BBR, MM and FlourBluff may mock me--or if they don't, others will--but I'm always going to be figuring what it would take for us to win conference, go to a meaningfully-named bowl like the Sugar or Rose or even Cotton, and so forth.

Lessee... if OU beats Baylor, and we win out, then...

And that's how Tom Herman and the team should be looking at it, unless maybe it's better to look at each game as if you're 0-0? I think it gives Texas a reason to play. Thanks to beating K-State, there's still a chance.

I don't think the odds are very good that Texas wins out. Let's see what happens on Saturday against ISU and then the following week against Baylor. I will be shocked if Texas wins both of those games. I hope that the Horns do win out, but being realistic, that is very unlikely.

Hombre, I only mock blind, unthinking homerism, which bores me half to death.

I got nothin' against some hope.

if we win tomorrow, all bets are off. If we win tomorrow, we have a great chance against Baylor. I expect OU to beat em.

I think Malcolm Roach got drawn offsides, but we've had plenty of calls go our way over the years, including against Iowa State. And maybe it's my biased, old eyes.

Besides, that game is over. Time to beat Baylor. I definitely don't want us in the Camping World Bowl or Cheez-It or Academy Sports & Outdoors. Reminiscent of galleryfurniture.com.

But if there's ever a Torchy's Bowl, I'm up for that.

Hahaha. Man, I know you civilians love Torchy's but us dudes that grew up in South Texas won't eat tacos that aren't made with home made tortillas. We've been ruined by our friends abuelitas. No kidding dude. The inside of a taco is important but the tortilla is what truly makes a taco. No kidding when I walk into any Mexican joint I ask at the door--- "do you have someone's abuela chained up in the back making tortillas or do you buy them?". If they tell me they buy them, I do a 180 and go get back in the vehicle. It's my philosophy, after trying nearly every taqueria south of San Antonio that I could get my hands on, that if you skimp on the tortilla, you're skimping on something else.

This is spot on.
