I'm somewhere on the upper East side--- and I walked into a pizza joint-- and I'm ordering the biggest monster pizza they have. And I'm taking that bad boy into an Uber and I'm going to crush it's soul.

Soul crushed pizza. Not soul crushing pizza. Soul crushed pizza. Fvck you Pizza. I own you.

Pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, olives.....thin crust....don't be shy with the cheese....

I did ground beef, pep, mush- xtra cheese.

This poor bastard never stood a chance.

Dude--- these candy ass Yankees can't handle a real jalapeno. I mean ya, there may be a few of them that can yank one off the vine and pop it down without flinching--- but they all live in the Bronx. This is Manhattan. These folks here are butter soft.
I'll be in Frascati next week. My brother-in-law claims no one in America can cook Italian.

Oh I'm sure there is. But there's a romantasizing thing that goes on when you eat real Italian food in Italy. It just magically tastes better. Lot of placebo effect if you ask me.

Well, he's Roman. Dad was commanding general of the Italian air force.

Stop at Joe’s on Carmine or at Union Square (or on Bedford Ave., if you’re hanging out with your hipster friends in Williamsburg) before you leave.

Best pizza anywhere on this planet (yes, including Naples), with the possible exception of New Haven.

I'll be in Rome next week. Any advice? Ive heard lots of pick pockets?
Yes. My brother in law lived over here for several years, acquired the habit of back pocket wallet. He's been picked a few times, usually on the subway. I have one of those inside the pants pockets from my last trip, but I picked up a travel vest from Railriders this year with inside zip pockets. I'll be carrying passport in one, wallet in another. I'll avoid rush hour on the subway. Will you be staying downtown? A few offbeat places: Capuchin monastery. Monks are buried, then bones dug up, become bone art. The Mouth of Truth. From Roman holiday. There's a cantina in Frascati in a parking lot. Perched on a cliff where you can watch the sun set over Rome. The Pantheon, only intact building from classical times. My mother's favorite: the arch of Titus, memorializing the sack of Jerusalem and the dispersal of the Jews. I want to go to Lake Nemi. Caligula kept 2 giant boats there. Mussolini dug them up. On their way out of Italy the Germans burned them.

Thanks for all the advice fellas. The old architecture was great, the food just OK and the graffiti a real turn off. And it stunk, trash everywhere. Stayed at the Waldorf, very nice.

Oh and lots of hot Italian gals running around!:)

The Waldorf?

Someone is paying you too much.

Glad you had fun but yes, the food isn't what it should be and Italian girls like to fvck almost as much as eastern European girls.

Well it helps when you work for the world's largest business travel agency. Airlines and hotels really kiss our butts!

One day I'll write a book. It will probably sell fewer than a hundred copies, but at least I'll have all this off my chest.
