It is such a better basketball arena compared to FEC. Shutting off the upper decks with video screens make it feel cozy.
There were several empty seats and my daughter said she thought it felt full.
Walking around the halls inside felt a lot like an airport. There were some weird stretches inside that seemed like they forgot to put thought into them compared to the highly decorated sections. Not a complaint, but merely my impression.
The self- checkout for food was very efficient The fries and pretzels were great.
The seats were very close together but generally comfortable. I’m not a small person and neither was the giant beside me. So…. That’s more about us than the stadium.
Sound system and video screens created a fun environment. It was an event!
Overall, I still missed FEC because of my memories. However, this is a far superior basketball arena! The students so close to the court was an advantage in this game.
Oh… and we won in OT!!! A win is a win is a win. So happy we won this OT game.
