Predicting the outcome of a football game is usually akin to trying to predict a business market or economic trend.

This one might actually be a pretty solid indicator.
 
That actually holds true for most teams that have somewhat balanced offenses. The team that rushes for the most yards usually wins. Of course, for teams like Army who run the ball 90% of the time, they frequently rush for more yards than their opponent even when they get blown out.
