From our dear friend Mark Passwaters at AggieYell. These are 3 separate updates on the coaching search, all posted in the last 3 days. Really seems like Aggieland has a great read on this situation. They would be smart to gain some humility from this situation but god knows that’s an impossible ask for Ags.
Thursday’s update:
From what I've heard, it's down to O'Connor (UVA) and Heefner (DBU). Announcement likely in the next couple of days. But anything you hear about a press conference already being set up is not accurate.
Friday’s update:
I talked to some folks today who told me A&M has interviewed Wake head coach Tom Walter and the interview apparently went very well. I think he’d probably take the job if offered, but A&M isn’t done interviewing yet. Today will be busy.
I’m driving home now so someone else will have to look up his record, but winning at Wake is no mean feat.

It’s like they’re getting entirely new info everyday that has absolutely no relation to the previous days info.
