Cliffs notes: Texas grabbed its second commitment for the 2020 class when offensive tackle Logan Parr announced his commitment.

Rankings:

Key Offers: Arkansas, Colorado, LSU, Michigan, Oklahoma, TCU, and Tennessee are among the schools that offered Parr.

Evaluation: Listed as an offensive tackle, Parr looks like a player that could end up in the interior or on the outside depending on where his body and feed go from here. Currently, he excels as a left tackle in high school thanks to his impressive upper body strength, advanced hands usage, quality technique, and motor.

Listed at 6-4, 278 pounds, Parr looks like he’ll eventually carry 300 pounds or more well, and is an impressive athlete, which shows in his ability to come out of his stance and quickly get to the second level and also down the field. Parr seems to always be on the lookout for someone to block, and definitely plays until the whistle.

There’s a lot to like about Parr, who is a Rivals250 member with the ceiling to crack the top 100.

Why it matters: You could make the case Parr is the best offensive linemen in Texas, and that he’s eventually going to become a top 100 player nationally.
