Who Needs Threes: Not only did Texas not make a three-point shot on Sunday, but they only took 4 in the entire game, while South Carolina was 5 of 19 (26.3%).
Gut Check: The Longhorns were excellent in the first half, but South Carolina responded with a dominant third quarter and put the home squad under a lot of pressure to deliver with the heat increasing.
