With many college football pundits hammering Texas' strength of schedule, I found it interesting that Texas will have played 9 bowl eligible FBS teams this year; 10 if ULM wins on Saturday. That is more than the other 3 SEC being considered for playoff births, as Georgia will have played 7 bowl eligible FBS teams (8 if Auburn wins Saturday), Tennessee will have played 6 (7 if NC St wins Saturday), and A&M will have played 8 (9 if Auburn wins Saturday). We will have also played more bowl eligible FBS teams than all the other SEC teams as well, with the exception of LSU, who will have played 10.
