I'm really excited to officially announce our new partnership with the Daly & Black law firm, which among its many areas of expertise is an award-winning focus on helping clients with storm damage issues.
Why Daly and Black? Besides its reputation as a fantastic law firm?
We're talking about founding partners who are Orangebloods through and through. John Black is a former student government president (1994-95) who served on the men’s athletics council and women’s athletics council (94-96 and 96-98, respectively). HIs daughter is currently a student at Texas studying fashion and apparel, and the hope is that his youngest daughter will soon join her.
On top of that, John was inducted into the Rec Sports Hall of Honor in 2022.
Even more exciting than John's connections to UT is the fact that through this partnership, Daly and Black plan to spearhead a Texas Baseball NIL fundraiser on Orangebloods that will have a designated goal of raising more than $100,000 for Jim Schlossnagle's program over the next 12 months through a series of silent auctions beginning in August.
This is a project that we've been working together on for the last few months and we're right on the cusp of launching, but the overall goal of Daly and Black is to not only become your home for storm damage help (among other areas of focus), but the firm wants to give back to a school that has become a way of life over the course of the last three decades.
Please, help me officially welcome Daly and Black to the community. It's an exciting time for Texas Baseball and the goal over the next 12 months will be to make it even more exciting with the help of everyone in the Orangebloods community!
