This was the one election where Liberals might have gotten the President they really really wanted. If they had nominated Bernie you would have had two candidates with similar characteristics saying much the same thing to the people the voted for Trump.
Bernie always seemed like a good guy, with a totally unworkable plan. However, unlike Hilary, never seemed like a corrupt, scheming, money grubbing liar.
I'm not saying he would have won, but if Trump can win, anyone can win.
This was their chance and they blew it (by stabbing their own guy in the back at the highest levels).
