Adopting the Bill Snyder Kansas St. non-conference football scheduling approach with the baseball team's 14 game home stand vs some pretty weak sisters was probably a good move by Pierce. This young team needed to learn how to win and gain some confidence at the plate along the way. I guess we really won't know for sure if true strides have been made until conference play.
