The definition of the Big XII being back is Texas and Oklahoma being on top.
Period.
Any other team being good or competitive does not matter.
Then why does the media give so much credit to those other teams in the little ten or SEC when they talk about their superiority?
The most Baylor scored before they played Vandy was 37 against UTSA and Kansas St. They just scored 45 against a great SEC defense. I guess their offense really improved over the break, even with their best player out.

I doubt he stays at Baylor long enough to build anything sustainable. The NE and the NFL will come calling and he will be going home.
Vandy had the 13th ranked defense in the SEC this year, and was the the 11th best team in the league. Baylor ended up 6th overall in the BIG12. So Baylor was a middle of the pack BIG12 team, and Vandy was not a middle of the pack SEC team. But it was a great win for the BIG12 over the SEC, no doubt.
Couple big opportunities for the BIG12 coming up to change the narrative, those two games will be all anybody remembers anyway. If you guys beat Georgia, I promise to be on that day to say congrats and eat a little crow.
But that 12th ranked SEC defense is better than any D that B12 has according to aggie. Remember we don’t play D in the B12.

SEC has 6 good defenses, (Miss State, LSU, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, & Florida) 2 OK defenses (A&M & Auburn), and 6 bad defenses. College football defense is bad overall, because the rules are made to help the offense.
I don't care what their Defense was ranked in the SEC. Fact is, that is the most points Vandy has allowed all year to any Team (UGA had 41) and that was the most points that Baylor scored all year (I don't count the 55 vs. ACU). As for how they ranked in the Conference, you do realize the SEC has 14 Teams and Vandy tied for 10th and the Big 12 has 10 Teams and Baylor was 6th. Baylor had 4 Teams below them and Vandy had 3 Teams below them and Tied with one. Not much difference there like you would like to believe.

Then why do SEC fans lump all the teams together when bragging about SEC defenses. Not once have I heard "SEC has the best defenses except Vandy". You would think playing the best of the best each week in the SEC would better prepare you for Baylor. You know, the whole iron sharpens iron thing. Maybe not.
Only when they win. Psychology 101. Internalize all perceived victories whether you had anything to do with them or not, externalize all failures even when they're your own.
Well we certainly don't base our self worth on what our conference mates accomplish like some. And get all butt hurt and run to another team's website to shout them down when one of them loses.

I didn't look...I just knew they didn't beat any in conference. Hey...Baylor and Vandy were both bad teams. But props to your conference for the W. Even though you aren't supposed to support your conference in bowl season.

We only do it because it pisses you off. Baylor's win has nothing to do with us, just like if Georgia beats us it won't make you any better.
So I double checked and Baylor was tied for 5th (w/TCU) in the BIG12 and Vandy was tied for 10th (w/Auburn) in the SEC.
I didn't realize Baylor did that well, their new coach has done well considering the mess he inherited. After the Liberty game I thought they might be like Kansas this year.

Both Baylor and Kansas are more accomplished in the Big XII than aggy. Baylor has won 2 conference titles. KU won a BCS bowl.
Seriously. Let that sink in.
