C’mon man ... the term Islanders is causing inequities in the world. It’s stopping our ability to deal with the urgent climate crisis Jack. We have to change it to a gender neutral term to help us deal with rising sea levels and the fracking crisis. The staff from Williams College has decided that Islanderx will be the new gender neutral mascot. The school colors are also being changed to a rainbow pattern. 🌈
The men’s track team that lines up for the women’s 100 meter dash can display the colors proudly.
