So I get the new rule that allows you to shirt and play in up to four games. Saban has had Hurts play garbage duty in every game this year so far.
So if I understand right, now even if Hurts graduates in December and transfers, can Saban stop him from going to another SEC school or will he still be free to go where he wants, but with the loss of a year of playing time he could have had?
This is a similar situation to Buchele correct (grad transfer but with two years to play thanks to Herman)?
