Biden starts out blasting Trump for "misinformation" about FEMA's response shortcomings. Then turns over to Kamala to read a scripted tome on FEMA's role and how they are doing all that is possible to do to address the needs of storm victims. She then turns it over to a local FEMA administrator to tell of the emergency actions they are taking at the local level. It is comical that she prefaces every item with " Madam Vice President, as you have directed, I have directed . . ." then proceeds to outline items of specific focus that seemingly came directly from Kamala. Kamala then prompted her to report any items of "misinformation" that they are encountering at their level - again getting in a dig at Trump.
The idea of the briefing was a good one - even if obviously too late. But the political commentary was patently obvious.
Then, laughably, Kamala makes a statement to the effect that no one should seek to politicize anything about this tragic event. 😄
