It is difficult to quantify the levels of failure we have seen, and that continue to unfold before our eyes. Elizabeth Warren is talking about price caps and Bernie Sanders continues to rant about Joe Manchin. Meanwhile, many things are getting worse and a reckoning is coming.
Folks, we are about to endure distillate shortages and food shortages may be on the horizon. Biden opened the floodgates of distillates (diesel/jet fuel/etc) to Europe and now the US does not have enough in PADD 1 and possibly padd 3 (USGC) as well. Meanwhile the fertilizer shortages caused by failed energy policy (natural gas is a key input) is making its way through the system. I’ve talked about this problem here since September. Well, the problem is coming to a grocery store near you.
