I think that the changes you are seeing I'm NFL offenses is significantly impacted by the rule changes put in place to protect QBs.

On top of all of that the rule changes today all cater to the offense.Totally agree. QB's today run a completely different offense than what was run in the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. Of course today's QB's are going to have more impressive passing yardage and TD's than QB's from that era. However, that doesn't necessarily mean that today's QB's are better than the QB's back then. If QB's back then ran the same offenses that are run today, they would have comparable numbers.
That's the key - Burrow is doing all of this with a crappy OL which, obviously, is the weak link on the Bengals. Not too hard to guess what position group they'll be concentrating on in the draft and off season. It's crazy that he is doing what he is doing with a bottom 3 offensive line in the league.
Speaking of the Bengals ol did you know that Burrow's center is Trey Hopkins an ol from TX, And Joseph Ossai was drafted by the Bengals last year. That's the key - Burrow is doing all of this with a crappy OL which, obviously, is the weak link on the Bengals. It's not just Burrow, though. The list of young QBs in the AFC is off the charts - probably the best group I can remember. Mahomes, Burrow, Allen, Herbert and L. Jackson are all 26 years old or younger. Just crazy
You talking about undrafted Trey Hopkins wow....he has a chance to win a ring to put on the wall at UT unbelievable...good for him.Speaking of the Bengals ol did you know that Burrow's center is Trey Hopkins an ol from TX, Trey Hopkins. And Joseph Ossai was drafted by the Bengals last year.
