Every faction in the news today claims to be representative of the "real" America. Just heard some goofy pundit from the women's march claim "The President is not America. We are America." Okay, and I am America. And dabster is America. And Mortgagehorn is America. These fools don't seem to understand that everyone claiming is right. They are America. That is America. That is why we have a Constitution and a formal election process. It worked. Some won, some lost. It is simply the back and forth of political process. "America" redefines what it wants and who it is every four years. Elections tend to swing not on who we are but on who we don't want to be at any particular time. Its the way it works. Just go with it. If you are unhappy in four years, you get a mulligan.
