Is everyone watchin the greatest quartback the game has ever known? Or, just hoping the cowboys just might pull one out? Support yer cowboys, buy a jersey and a hat. Jerrah's got yer back.

Dallas played a damn good game tonight. It came down to them not scoring TD's. They kicked FG's and missed a couple of FG's. That was the difference in the game. The Cowboys outplayed the Bucs, but didn't get the win.

Meeeeehhhhhh.......... dallas did play a good game. They did miss an extra point and FG.

But that old man Brady always seems to find a way to win. It's his MO. <---- that's Latin, yo.

He could have made all of them + the 60 yarder and f-in Brady still would have won. Damn, I really hate Brady. The only answer that makes sense to me is he sold his soul.

I don’t watch the NFL anymore, but let me guess. Dallas had a bunch of penalties all of a sudden on their last drive?

Nope. Dallas was gifted numerous turnovers inside the redzone and couldn't convert them into points. Brady took the final drive down field for a fieldgoal with 2 seconds left. He did what he always does.

You mean Dallas created those turnovers. Also, there was a no call on offensive pass interference on TB's last drive. The Bucs receiver clearly pushed off, and of course the refs aren't going to make that call call against Brady, err Eddie Haskell, on the last drive.

I could argue the same for Tampa with the missed FGs and missed extra point. A missed FG is the exact same thing as a turnover IMO.

Sorry to break it to you but Tom was the second best QB on the field last night. He was just fortunate to have the better defense.

That's because he is willing to structure his contract to allow for some room under the cap to sign a few more players. He's focused on winning Super Bowls and that is all. He would play for free if he thought it would help the team win. (It helps that his wife make more money than half the NFL teams.)

True except for the wr tipped up int. Either way, those have to go on the score board against championship teams. I think Dak did very well considering nobody else was ready to help much.

When your wife is worth 300 million dollars you can do this. Doesn't change the fact he wasn't better than Dak last night.

And Tom has been in the top 5 of QB money 80% of his career. Not sure why people act like he has been taking discounts his whole career.

I agree that Dak was better last night, but the Cowboys DL was not anywhere close to what Tampa Bay put on the field. In salary or in talent/production. Some of that is because of what Brady is willing to do. He has made top 5 pay for a long time, but it always seems like he is willing to restructure to help the team. Maybe that's just my perception.

The Cowboys can't field a defense because they overpaid their RB and LB with one bad leg. They have invested some premium picks on defense the last 2 years though and the defense should improve as the season progresses. Tampa won't be able to keep that defensive unit together for very long as they have guys due for contracts at the end of this season.

Brady knows how to control the game and scores when it's needed. If the Cowboys would have burned a little more clock the last drive they may have had a chance. You don't leave Brady time to win it.

Bingo. I was yelling this very thing last night. Poor clock management at the end of the game by McCarthy.

Two very costly holding penalties toward the end was what decided the game, imo.

Watching the NFL is like watching grass grow. Where have I heard that from someone on here? Oh wait, wrong football. Still make no effort to watch NFL and I grew up a HUGE Oilers fan.
I don't understand how people don't like watching the NFL? Especially a game like last night where you have 2 really good QBs playing at a high level. I'll take that over any college game any day, and I love college ball as well. But then again i'm just a football junkie and can't get enough of it ever.

Exactly. Oldmanastro would choose to watch a soccer game over the NFL. That is a head scratcher.

Because it's a 4 hour time commitment to watch 15 minutes of action.

But quite honestly, if I don't have a rooting interest in any sport I'm probably not watching. I used to watch everything...all the time. Now I just don't care. I'd rather read, lol.

I just don't get how anyone can find soccer even remotely entertaining.

It's understanding. People say that about pretty much every sport.

Ultimately what drives sport viewership is either a vested interest (alum, family, bets, community, etc.) or the sport is intriguing to your intellect. Soccer intrigues my intellect. It is like a big game of chess...how does one move their pieces in such a way to break down the opponents defense. Probably also why my favorite part of watching a football game is to see formation and pre-snap movement. Also why I prefer a pitching duel rather than a bomb fest in baseball. It intrigues my personal intellect. Not that I'm smarter than anyone, lol, just how my brain is stimulated.
