Most everyone here loves the game but it's become ground zero for political & social crap. We've got 24/7 unlimited choices for that. Football WAS our escape for a few hrs but noooooo, they had to F that up as well.
This might be why collin keapernink is unemployed. Well, as a football player anyways.
I thought the cowboys and especially Dak played well enough to win but anyone and everyone here should know by now that these games are clearly controlled by the phantom/no call and the ever so convenient holding (drive killing) penalty. Which coincidentally comes in handy controlling momentum and deciding the end result. I'm not much into the NFL these days since the Eagles finally got their Trophy and the collin keapernink influence on the stage. I tuned in to see TB12.
If the award is, "you look like a giant douchebag and I wish you would stop play acting to try and get a card" then yes, big time award winners!
Cowboys would have burned more clock on that last drive… holding penalty killed that. The no call on TB’s receiver was Brady’s earley Christmas gift.
It’s definitely not like that. That didn’t last very long at all. Either way I’m not going to let political BS ruin watching something I really enjoy. I haven’t seen any of the guys kneeling for the national anthem either.
Oh, it is definitely like that for many. It didn't stop with the kapernick bs. They are playing Lift Every Voice and Sing, newly labeled as. The "Black National Anthem." How is that not divisive and political? The song is beautiful in and of itself but what it is being played for is just wrong.
How would you feel if UT started playing a separate song only for non-white alumni before EoT? I don't know about you but I sure liked sports more before they became a public political platform. It takes away from the game imo.

I have season tickets to Cowboys games and I can assure they are definitely not doing that.
Ummm....i guess you weren't watching their 1st game because that's exactly what happened.
Sounds like you were watching as well. I have never heard that song played once at AT&T Stadium 10 years of having season tickets.
