I had my knee replaced last Wednesday and all went fairly well. I can attest that this was worse than shoulder replacement but no where near as bad as having rods, discs and screws put in your back. The first 72 hours after really sucked but then it got much much better. Six days removed from the surgery I am walking well with a cane and have minimal pain.

The key is the ice machine that circulates cool water around the knee. Used it 30 on and 30 off, reduced the swelling and pain. THIS IS A MUST IF YOU GET THIS SURGERY.

To be honest the worst part was the narcotics based crap I took on day 5, like giving birth to a cobalt rod the width of a coke can. Thirty minutes of grunting and pain and it was joyous to be rid of that thing. Plugged up the toilet but I didn’t care. Was soaked in sweat and wanted to go out side and smoke after.

Anyway, on to PT to get my strength and motion back. If anyone is considering or has one of these pending hit me up, I can provide advice.

Now let’s kick the shit out of Blow U.
