Crazy how wildly things can swing in just a few years. Lake Travis is currently at 640.42, roughly 41 foot below full pool (681). Saw a photo from my Facebook timeline from 10/28/18, lake was at 704 from the massive rains, 23 foot above full pool. A 64 foot swing!
Today our dock is dry and has been for months. 4 years ago, we were trying to keep it out of some trees that grow behind the road we drive down.
I've been on the lake for the better part of 45 years and it has always moved up and down, but the extremes (especially the low levels) are so much more frequent.
