Riley is not going anywhere. I think the kid want to go to Georgia possibly. Maybe he has a better chance to play earlier somewhere else? Rattler will be the starter next year so Mordecai may be a portal candidate. Rumor has it Riley may be whispering sweet nothings in Chad Morris’ ear.

qb is the last thing I’d worry about right now for OU

Turns out Riley was whispering sweet nothings in Chad Morris’ ear because he apparently committed to OU today. Now is he better that Vandergriff I guess we’ll find out in a couple of years. I hope he at least has a perm or is willing to get one

Casey is not related to Paul Thompson (who is in the Sooner Hall of Fame). He is the son of Sooner legend QB Charles Thompson.

Well I’d say that the biggest question mark will be replacing 4 of the 5 starters on the OL, as well as the QB. Both Tackles, the Center and a 5th year Guard. That’s a ton of experience and will be very difficult to replace

Also, Bimage and Graham are going to be impact players at SDE next season. We need some of these recruits to hit so we can replace them. I also could see Ossai leaving early, as I am predicting him to have a big season next year.

OL will lose some guys but I think we will have plenty of options ready to step in. I'm assuming Cosmi stays for 2020, doubt he would come back in 21 but who knows. I'm not sure Imade will be a starter.

Who ever said you have to go in the top 3 rounds to leave early?

With the new rookie contract set up, it really makes sense to do what you can to go in the top 3 rounds. There isn't much guaranteed money after that. Not that the money is bad but unless you get a second contract you aren't set up for life like a 1st rounder may be.

I think Cosmi stays as well, but no chance he stays for ‘21. Not if he continues his trajectory. There will be options, but losing 4 of your 5 starters is never a good thing. Texas doesn’t have the depth built up behind them to sustain a blow like that without missing a beat. Imade should start next season. Only guy that could possibly push him out is Jones and I don’t think he is ready. Now, maybe Moore forces Okafor back inside and we get Okafor/Anguila at the two Guard positions, but that’s a long shot
