Liberals - where do you sit on open borders?

In the last couple of weeks, we've seen the leader of the Democratic party wear this shirt which translates to "I don't believe in borders".

Last night, we saw a candidate in New York beat a 10-term congressman who was one of the top Democratic congressmen by most accounts running on a platform of abolishing ICE.

Is this really what liberals want? Seems like a disastrous shift politically for them in terms of winning elections in the midterms and eventually in 2020. Just curious what the liberals on this board think of open borders and abolishing ICE.
