If you all would indulge me and please keep a dear friend in your thoughts. On Orangbloods, he goes by the name of “No Mas”. He was recently diagnosed with a terrible disease called MSA which he describes as Parkinson’s on steroids.
Bob attended Highland Park high school then the University in the late sixties/early seventies. The most passionate Longhorn I have ever met and he followed football recruiting closer than anyone I have ever known. He was the CFO at my first job out of college and we would spend hours discussing Texas football and recruiting every day.
I visited him yesterday and the disease has ravaged his body and I’m not sure how much time he has left on this Earth. My words here are insufficient as a tribute to him and all that he means to so many that know him. Proud to call him a friend. Hook ‘em forever. Thank you.
