Many are starting to ask the question - did Lincoln Riley piss off God when he posted that picture of the driest brisket known to man?
The tweet was posted in April of 2021. Since that point he failed to win the Big 12 for the first time ever in his final season at OU, and has failed to field a competitive team at USC in 3 seasons despite having a generational player at QB for 2 of those seasons.
For their part in the blasphemous brisket saga, OU appears to have been considered guilty by association, as they too have not experienced success since said tweet. Really goes to show just how serious the BBQ game is if true. I hope Sark never tempts fate the way ol’ Stinkin Riley did.
