I suppose this time in life will be permanently imprinted on our brains. But it will eventually seem foreign, distant, otherworldly. Like some prehistoric fossil preserved in amber, its origins clearly defined, yet plucked from a setting that contains only the faintest relevance to the reality of the day.

The 2020 Lockdowns. Remembered not for the long-faded memory of their pretext, but instead for the term for which they will embody—hysteria. Plain and simple hysteria. Fear over truth. Panic over poise. Myopia over perspective.
