Austin weird is your traditional California style fruits and nuts weird. San Francisco southwest.
Our toy soldiers are a different weird. I lived it and can't really understand it.
I had a few toy soldier friends in school who were normal, then they got around their fellow faux soldiers and wow. I think a lot of the weirdness is fake. Just dorks who finally fit in. It gets some dorks laid (by girls believe it or not), so I get that part at least.

You are 100% right. The fringes get all the attention. Not sure why TV cameras focus on them so much. Our normal students are just that, normal smart kids.

Aggy was really good for two years and it wasn't because of Johnny football. Sherman could evaluate, recruit and coach up O-line talent. Add some serious NFL talent and reciver and some lower end NFL talent at running back and you have an offense that can score lots of points on anyone. Imagine what a guy like Graham Harrell could have done with that talent. You know a guy who can get to his second and third progression. Anyway until Aggy isn't going to be good until they can get an O-line full of 1st round NFL talent and based on the OL talent level across the state I just don't think any of US are going to have much luck at stacking OL talent in the near future.

I wonder whatever happened to Sherman? We sure could use an OL coach. Pay him real money.

Its actually kind of funny right now because i have an aggy cousin that swears all the hippie, beatnik, progressive millenials are flooding the school now and decent, boot wearing, truck driving conservatives are nowhere to be found.

I’m not sure Jimbo is the guy I would have hired if I was A&M. I know they lost their starting qb but that FSU team fell absolutely apart. Also their starting qb that got hurt was extremely average imo and got dismantled by Bama. At 52 it’s human nature to lose that burning desire to be the best. I would have pursued a coach at least 10 years younger but that’s just my opinion.

A&M overpaid for Jimbo. The guy went 25-12 over the last 3 seasons and pretty much mailed it in earlier this season.
