Long road trip advice

What a great fvcking weekend of sports! Unfortunately I need to be up early tomorrow to embark on a long road trip for work.

Heading from Austin to Lewisville, to Houston to Del Rio back to Austin.

This may be too long of a long shot but looking for any hidden gems along 45 back to Houston from Lewisville or along 90 on way out to Del Rio. Any sort of BBQ or really any type of food. TIA for any recommendations.
