Times I guess are tough now-a-days with the athletic department. The longhorn band had to take off a 11pm last night in buses to make a 15 hour drive to Atlanta. Apparently they had to do this as well for the SEC championship game.
When I was at UT the band flew to all venues out of state. God forbid they have travel issues and such on the journey. The cheer squad and Pom squad was also driving.
Anyone know why the athletic department opted to have all the spirit teams take a 15 hour (less safe) bus ride? I guess that NCAA lawsuit has them cutting left and right.
