Elliot and perennial power, women’s volleyball, sign the #1 class in the nation to include the nations top 2 OH’s in Macaria Spears and Abby Van Der Wall, and 4 players in the top 18 HS rankings to include top MB Taylor Harvey and top liberó, Callie Krueger. He also recently signed Pittsburgh transfer and elite OH, Jr, Torrey Stanford.
CMW and the lady softball teams are #1 in the nation, undefeated, and coming off an absolutely dominating win over #8 Texas Tech. FYI, Texas is now 3-1 against elite transfer, N Canady going back to her time at Stanford after Teagan Kavan bested her with an 18 k masterpiece on Friday night.
Coach Schloss and the Texas baseball program run-rule 2022 NCAA champion Ole Miss for their first victory of the year to open up what should be a very fun first season of the Schlossnagle era.
#3 Men’s Tennis avenges last seasons ncaa title game loss to TCU and beats their 5th #1 team in the nation in 5 years. Currently battling for a spot in the semifinals in the ncaa ITA indoor championship which includes a 4-1 victory over Aggy. Will more than likely be ranked #1 in the country next week.
#7 Women’s Tennis, with 6 true freshman and only one senior, sweep #3 Ok State in the first round of the ITA indoor championship last weekend. In a couple of years, this squad will be an absolute force.

Bob Bowman’s men’s swimming and diving team is currently #1 in the nation and undefeated, besting the #4 and #6 teams in the nation and fresh of an absolute dominant win over Aggy.
Carol Capitani has the women’s swimming and diving program currently ranked #2 in the nation behind Virginia, with their only loss on the season thus far being a closely contested match to the aforementioned cavaliers on 25 January. Both teams look poised to win the conference and will be tough to beat in their respective tournaments.
Texas beach volleyball enters the season ranked for the first time at #15 and will be a fun follow this year.
#1 Texas rowing looks poised to defend their national championship and will look to claim their 4th NCAA title in the last 5 years this year.
