Very solid tournament for all three Longhorns involved!

-Also, Brandon Stonewas T44 at Commercial Bank Qatar Masters on the European Tour last weekend.


Basketball
Notes on Longhorn Players in NBA over the last seven days. All stats via Basketball-reference.com.

-No double-doubles for Jarrett Allen this week, but he played 19 or more minutes in all three games. After 28 straight starts, the Nets Interim Head Coach replaced him with DeAndre Jordan in the starting lineup. His Nets went 2-1 since the last edition of Longhorns in the Pros.


-LaMarcus Aldridge has been out with a shoulder injury, he’s probable to return tonight for the Spurs.

-Not a good week for P.J. Tucker and the Rockets. They go 0-3 since last Tuesday, he drops 13 total points and 18 rebounds.

-Myles Turner dropped his 8th double-double of the season on Sunday in a 3-point win over the Mavericks. 16 points and 13 rebounds in that one, 15 and 8 in the previous contest against the Bulls.



-No stats for Jaxson Hayes this week.

-Tristan Thompson came up just short of his 26thdouble-double of the season. He scores 9 points, 2 blocks, and 13 rebounds in the Cavaliers win over Nuggets.



-Back-to-back great offensive performances from D.J. Augustin. He drops 24 points in Orlando’s win over the Rockets on Sunday. 4 for 6 from deep in the game. In his previous game, on Friday, he put up 18 points.


-Another week of limited minutes for Mo Bamba, but he did have 5 points and 5 rebounds in ORL vs. HOU.


-Cory Joseph was limited with a heel injury last week. He did have 6 assists and 2 steals vs. Toronto on Sunday.

-Big game for Avery Bradleyon Sunday as he drops 24 in the Lakers win over the Clippers. 9-17 from the field, including 6 from three-point range.
