Looks like they are setting up Texas vs Ohio St in quarter finals

Barring upsets in the conference championships, Texas would play the 7th seed (Georgia now).
Ohio State is sitting in the 8th seed.
CFP committee has said:
"Those teams who are not playing cannot be adjusted in terms of where they are compared to other teams that are not playing, but the championship [game] teams we will evaluate that data point to determine if there needs to be any movement, based on how the performance of the game goes."

So Georgia’s position in the rankings could be adjusted. Although I don’t believe they would drop them much, I could see them easily moving Ohio State up a spot to the 7 seed to play Texas in the quarterfinals. Think the would chose that over a 3rd matchup between us and Georgia.
