OU's looked stupid at times. I like their QB and they have some wr talent. That QB reminds me of Trickett from Fla. St./WV a couple years back. Good arm
Well Diadevic I've got to say I didn't really expect to be tied up but I've got to give your players and coach credit. I still think OU will win and they should but Baylor is making them earn it. Mayfield needs to get his other receivers involved.
If Texas defense continues the level of play they had for the USC game. Tory could make some noise in conference play.
I'm going to venture to say that Baylor put forth perhaps the best effort we'll see out of them all season. I can't think the team that played tonight is the same one that lost to Liberty etc. I like that qb they have.
The refs were saying he came down and had possession when his right foot hit and then bobbled it. To me it's pretty convoluted how they determine possession sometimes.
I’m just glad they won. I had faith they would. SS guys are negative anytime things go bad. Wait till the games over before crying about it. Baylor found a QB tonight and that offensive line played good. During the game Baker is hell,but he was shaking hands with Baylor players after the game.
I disagree. Baylor may be 0/4 but they haven't been blown out in any of them. They will beat KS and ISU and think they'll spring an upset on somebody. Matt Rhule is a good coach and after today I'm convinced he'll get the job done. Baylor fans can take hope that even though they're 0/4 Matt Rhule is no Kevin Steele.
Baylor looked good. Everyone harping on Mike Stoops on the boards. The offensive line sucked last night as well. Offense could have helped the defense look better if they used more clock. I think it was good for the players to be tested. It’s football UCF beat Maryland 38-10. What does that tell you? Nothing, maybe Maryland is a road team.
UCF outgained MD by a 2 to 1 margin. MD played a TX team with a new hc in his first game. Also, this was a TX whose players had to many position coaches. Not surprisingly our players were a little bit confused and unsure. In short, they were lucky.
I guarantee that Mike Stoops did not tell Jordan Thomas to let Mims and Platt abuse him all night. Before the snap Mike Stoops had him lined up on his receiver, what happened after that is on Thomas. Dude has been reading too many press clippings since the RRS last year in which he played a great game, I might add. The deal is this: Rhule convinced his players that starting conference play their record is not 0-3, it's 0-0. They did a great job scheming OU, it happens, throw in their qb who looked really good to me and there you have it.They played OU close no doubt.
