LSU Chickens out??

I didn't make clear on a previous thread I spoke with you about. I didn't say it the way I meant it and that's on me. I saw an article on this yesterday and that the SEC will play a 10 game conference schedule only which surprised me because I assumed they would ignore protocol and do what they wanted. You know winning like they have been can give you the power to do what you want and to hell with everyone else. So that makes 2 conferences with a 10 conference schedule the Pac XII being the other so I commend the SEC for doing the right thing. That leaves the ACC, Big X, and the Big XII. Surprising that since the Big X was the first conference to cancel their non con schedule they haven't announced a schedule to replace it. The ACC wants to go to a 10 non con game schedule but add 1 non con game but will they be pressured to drop the 1 non con game? And as for the Big XII what's up Bob Bowlsby?

The Pac XIl has announced their revised schedule for this season. Their season will run from 9/26 to 12/5. And the schools announced that the team's will report on 8/17. The article didn't say when or if there's a Pac XIl title game.

What this schedule says to us fans is to how these revised schedules are going to look like elsewhere. I realize they're trying to stretch this out as long as possible for them to have a season. But this is the last chance for a season.

Time will tell.

Well one thing I noticed about the Pac XIl revised schedule. They have a lot of traditional ending rivalries most of them in state or in city rivalries. But everything has been reshuffled fur example SC/UCLA is a season opener.

Can we expect to see the same in Big XIl? Yes. Even TX/OK? Not likely but without a State Fair who knows? Can we expect to see the same in the other conferences? Absolutely.
