The biggest growth demographic for Republicans is Hispanics. They were a key to this election. The problem is that MAGA wants their vote but not to give them a Thanksgiving seat at the adult table. I am talking about the Republican primary and Hispanics. This is the real power structure of the Republican party. And it often looks like an old white men's club. No Mexicans allowed.

Over the years I have watched Republican governors seek and appoint qualified Hispanics for vacant seats: From judges to county offices, to state reps. But in the Republican primary along comes a fire-breathing, pro-life, anti-immigration, 'I'm more conservative than you' old white man' and knocks the Hispanic out of office.

At some point the Hispanics need to be represented. Marco Rubio is Cuban, not Mexican. He can' t be the Super Hispanic for Texas and Arizona and all the other states the Republicans hope to win.

So, how do Republicans incorporate Hispanics into their general election candidates?
