Pretty wild finish yesterday, Speith had the best round of golf I can remember watching live on TV. Dude was on fire until he hit that tree. Happy for Reed tho, especially after Rory talked all that smack on Saturday.

I've liked Reed since he shoved it in the Euros' faces during the '16 Ryder Cup. It was even sweeter yesterday listening to Euro homer Faldo sound like his dog died after his golden boy Rory choked and Captain America won. Loved it.
I guess a lot of people don't like him... I don't know much about him outside of golf. But the dude can put, and I respect that lol.
Apparently he was accused of stealing stuff from the golf club and teammates while he was at Georgia. Don't know if there is any validity to it, but that was what was being said on the Twitter-verse yesterday.
There was an SI article on him a few years ago. Can't find the link. Evidently his wife hates his parents, and vice versa. Parents were following Reed at the US Open a couple of years ago, and the wife called security and had the parents removed from the golf course. Son and parents haven't spoken in years.

That's a sad deal. His wife had his parents escorted off the grounds at a tournament. Said something like they haven't talked in 6 years, but that they still want to reconcile and have that relationship with their son again. I don't know what happened, and ultimately it doesn't matter, that situation sucks.
He's the ultimate grinder.

He made a believer out of me when he took Rory out of the Ryder Cup.
