Hello fellow OB members,

Today is a very, very special day in the history of our great country. Since 1868 Americans have taken the time to honor and remember those who died while fighting for the freedom we hold so dear. If you have a relative or know someone who died serving our country, I'd love to read your story.
I am posting about what is most near and dear to me--The Bataan Death March.
10,000 to 15,000 Filipinos and Americans died on The March. Although my father survived it, while he was alive, he will never forget his comrades who died.
The story I want to tell is long--too long for here. I am just asking all of you to join me in taking a moment of silence and perhaps saying a prayer for the soldiers that died on The March or in battle anywhere at anytime in the world.
Here are pictures of the Death March Route and my father and hero.
