Michael Bloomberg

[UT Big Daddy]

Great piece in today’s WSJ about Democrat Presidential Candidate Michael Bloomberg. Bloomberg is a moderate candidate (relatively liberal on some issues and conservative on others) who will appeal to moderate Democrats and potentially moderate Republicans.

I can’t help but wonder if Bloomberg will consider a 3rd party run in the event that Sanders or Warren win the D nomination? Bloomberg’s net worth of ~$50B makes this a fascinating campaign. He is a capitalist who would face a tax bill of billions annually if Sanders or Warren were to successfully implement their tax plans. Might Bloomberg do whatever it took to keep Warren or Sanders out of the White House even if it means another term for Donald Trump?

Money/fundraising is an utter non factor here. Fascinating.
