An American Airlines regional jet and a black hawk helicopter collided near Reagan Airport and both crashed into the Potomac. Doesn’t look like any survivors but I don’t know that for sure.
First reports from FlightAware would seem to show that the helicopter encroached on the DCA pattern and hit the plane. The chopper was on a training flight.
The plane was an E175. I am sitting on one for the same regional right now.
