OB fam, I have read posts from many of you about your beloved dogs over the years, dreading the day when it would be Molly. This house simply isn’t going to be the same.

She was 15 and a rescue, so pretty sure she was Aussie Shepherd and Doberman mix. She was basically a sister to my two boys who got her when they were 4 and 7. She was a better dog than I deserved, having been raised by people who didn’t have dogs.

She had to teach me how to be a good dog parent, and luckily she was smarter than all of us so she was patient and kind. Our boys got one last summer home from college with her before we realized she really needed to be freed from this life.

I have dreaded this day and I figure it will get better as most things do, but it’s hard as many of you here know.

RIP Molly dogo, you deserve heaven more than anyone else I know.
